Can Do

Volunteers work 1 to 1 1/2 hours per shift. Most shifts begin between 9am and 10am. There are six days we are open, Monday through Saturday, one shift per day. Sometimes we have enough volunteers to have two people per shift but mostly it is just one volunteer. We provide training and will be there with you until you feel comfortable working alone.Currently looking for 1 shift per week, if you want more than that , we can discuss.

Can Do collects returnable bottles and cans. Volunteers retrieve donated bottles and cans from the blue containers provided outside of the building. We bag those returnables and store them in mobile cages until they are picked up by CLYNK. CLYNK totals the amount of money the returnables produce and splits these funds between two food pantries in York County. Can Do has been operating for many years.
