Esther Residence

We provide connection with medical, dental, eye glass and medication needs. We have in-house weekly yoga class, monthly massage therapist services, hair cutting volunteer, connection with Workforce Solution, Voc Rehab, HS and college courses. We receive toiletries and clothing for women residing here, as well as items when women move out into their own apartments.

MISSION: Provide guidance in a safe and nurturing environment to women desiring to make positive life changes Transitional housing for 7 women coming out of incarceration. Purpose is to provide housing stability while working, doing Recovery work with daily attendance at meetings, working with a sponsor and doing 12 Step work, submitting to random UDS, going to substance abuse counseling. We have a Step Program, house meeting every Monday starting at 5:30, group activities, scheduled, responsibilities, Goal setting and follow-up. We encourage completing HS equivalency courses, taking college courses, working towards long terms goals of work with benefits, reconnecting with family and moving towards independent living. We do this in a climate of support, 24 hour supervision with a spiritual component of brief reflection times, encouragement of church participation, prayer and spiritual practices.
