Westbrook Food Pantry

The Westbrook Food Pantry has been run by volunteers for over 20 years. It has moved five times, but now has a permanent home at the Westbrook Community Center, which provides an excellent location for efforts to reduce food insecurity. Over 40 volunteers strive to meet the needs of their neighbors. With the relaxation of COVID restrictions, the pantry plans to return to food distribution on every Tuesday within the next five weeks and return to evening food pantry distribution as soon as possible. The Food Pantry hired a half-time director in March of this year.

The Westbrook Food Pantry has provided food to residents of Westbrook for over 20 years. It is located in the Westbrook Community Center and is open to the public; COVID restrictions are hopefully soon to be relieved. We connect residents with resources to assist those in need and work closely with local agencies dedicated to relieving the burden of poverty and isolation.
