Join Ogunquit, Maine: Beautiful Place by the Sea and Frannie Peabody Center (FPC) at OgunquitFest in Perkins Cove for everyone's favorite event - the 10th Annual High Heel Dash! Hosted by the one and only Joe Perry from the Dueling Drag Divas and the amazing Miss Minerva Maine, along with the sounds of DJ Jodi Entertainment. So polish off those heels for a good cause; costumes are encouraged for an afternoon of family fun! (There is a box of assorted heels that are available - first come first serve.)
All proceeds benefit FPC programs providing direct services for people here in Maine living with and at risk for HIV/AIDS.
- $20 entry fee, $10 for kids 12 and under. Cash, check and credit cards accepted.
- Heels must be at least 2" high!
- There will also be a live Auction featuring one of Amy Kelly's amazing Lobster tails from Talespinstudio.
- Prizes for the fastest dasher, highest heel to complete the dash and most Outrageous Outfit! Special prize for the fastest child.
Note: The road into and out of the Cove will be closed to traffic from 2:30 PM until the end of the Dash approximately 3:30 PM.
