Volunteer: Hospice Patient Companions

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? Hospice volunteers play a vital role in bringing comfort, dignity, and human connection to patients and families during one of life’s most important moments.

As a hospice volunteer, you may:

Offer companionship and emotional support to patients

Provide respite for caregivers

Assist with light tasks, reading, music, or simply being present

Support families with kindness and compassion

No medical experience is required. We provide comprehensive and free 20 hour training, ongoing support, and flexible scheduling to match your availability and comfort level.

Who we’re looking for:

Compassionate, dependable individuals

Good listeners with a caring heart

Adults willing to complete training and background screening

Volunteering with hospice is not about fixing—it’s about being there. Your presence can bring peace, comfort, and reassurance when it’s needed most.

If you’re ready to make a difference in a deeply meaningful way, we would love to welcome you to our volunteer team
