Volunteer: Volunteer DriverRTP is looking for great people who want to help others get to their appointments! You drive your own vehicle and receive mileage reimbursement at $0.50 per mile, along with the knowledge that you are helping others. We required a clean driving record and the ability to pass criminal and DHHS background checks. We also provide Defensive Driving, CPR/First Aid, Passenger Assistance Training, Disability Awareness & Sensitivity along with much more. The cool thing about being a volunteer, besides helping people, is that you get to set your days and times you are available. Of course, we need people who can drive in the morning and afternoons the most, but we appreciate any time you can give us. If you are interested in learning more about being or becoming a volunteer driver, please contact Danielle at 207-615-0393 or you can email her at hr@rtprides.org We look forward to hearing from you.
