With just an hour of your time you can learn about current opportunities and upcoming trainings to volunteer within the program.
Jewish Community Virtual Volunteer Open House: Tuesday, September 13th from 1:00-2:00PM via Zoom
Unique volunteer opportunities are available to work with diverse populations in Maine. Current roles include:
- Leadership Roles
- Grocery Shopping Consultant
- Financial Literacy & Digital Literacy Support
- Cultural Orientation
- Public Transportation
- Moving Team/House Raising
All volunteers would be trained and managed by the HIAS Refugee Resettlement Program at the Jewish Community Alliance in Portland. Remote and hybrid volunteer roles are available.
