Description

If you are looking for a rewarding volunteer experience where you can make a difference in the lives of grieving children, teens, young adults and adults, we invite you to fill out an application and learn more about our Peer Support Facilitator opportunity. We are currently seeking applicants who are interested in supporting our Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Bereavement Program Nights in Portland.

Volunteer Facilitators at the Center are an integral part of our organization and caring community, as they directly support participants within our weekly evening groups. Eligible individuals are required to complete a 30hr training and make a 3.5-4hr weekly commitment to co-leading a small peer support group of children, teens, young adults or adults while receiving ongoing support and training.

Please visit www.cgcmaine.org/get-involved to learn more and fill out our required volunteer application. We are currently accepting applications for our May and September 2026 Peer Support Facilitator Trainings.
