FORE! The Opportunity Alliance is in need of volunteers to assist with event operations at our upcoming Golf for Good 2022 Tournament. This tournament is a great opportunity to socialize on the green while helping your community. Proceeds from the tournament will provide critical support and programming for individuals and families in need across the region, who continue to feel the impacts of the pandemic.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the following duties: checking players in at the registration table, responding to players' needs as a floater around the course, helping event staff with promoting raffle tickets and player packs, and helping with event set-up and breakdown prior to and after event. Volunteers will not be asked to handle any collection of donations or counting of money raised onsite.
All volunteers should plan to arrive at The Woodlands Club between 10:00am and 10:30am to check in and receive orientation.
TOA staff will be on-hand to direct volunteers on day-of and validate volunteer hours following the event as needed. As only ~eight volunteers will be needed for this event, volunteers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Make sure to wear comfortable, family-friendly attire and plan for the weather. You will be outside for the duration of the event. If the event is postponed due to inclement weather, we will notify all volunteers in a timely fashion.
