United Way of Southern Maine (UWSM) is partnering with the Michael Klahr Jewish Family Services Diaper Bank to celebrate Family Day of Action with a Drive Through Diaper Drive. The Drive takes place on Sunday, November 21, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed for a variety of positions including: set-up, diaper collector, flagger, and clean-up. Shifts run 9:30 a.m.- Noon or Noon - 2:30 p.m.
Diaper need is a serious issue, many families are forced to make heart-wrenching choices between paying for rent or groceries and buying diapers. Your volunteer help will make a significant impact for local families.
