Description

Cumberland County 4-H's Mini-Forum will be here quickly and we are in need of volunteers who would like to share their time and expertise with youth! Mini - Forum will be held Saturday March 21, 2020, from 9:00AM to 2:30 PM at Bailey Hall, USM in Gorham. There will be two sessions to choose from; 10:00 - 11:30 and 1:30 - 2:30.

Mini-Forum is open to all youth (no 4-H enrollment necessary) ages 5-18. Presenters can choose their topic, session time, number of kids, and age groups they'd like to teach. A small fee for materials can be assessed but no fee for a presenter's time will be charged. Mini-Forum provides an opportunity for youth to find a new passion or enhance current skills. Workshops should be something that youth can make or do.

Some past workshops have included Cake Decorating, Juggling, Make your own Smoothie, Anime, Origami, Duck Tape Creations, Make your own Napkin Holder, and more. To register to be a presenter please fill out this google form: https://goo.gl/forms/65RMTXZMSF1TQXvn2 by Thursday, February 20th.

Don't have an idea for a workshop but would be willing to lead one? We have kits from the 4-H office that would be perfect to use at Mini-Forum. If you are interested or have questions please email sara.conant@maine.edu or call 207-781-6099.
