This fun and casual evening will be an opportunity for attendees to learn more about Spurwink and support the work we do. The event will also feature a service component, allowing attendees to create individual backpacks with items for children in our day and residential treatment, foster care, and child abuse programs, as well as for uninsured and new refugee families. There will be complimentary Shipyard beer, appetizers from Thainy Boda, Maiz, and The Marshmallow Cart, and fun carnival games.
Spurwink needs volunteers to help with set up from 12 pm - 4 pm and then with the event itself from 4:15 pm - 8 pm. Tasks include:
- Registration
- Raffle ticket sales
- Food truck assistance
- Managing carnival games
- Managing backpack assembly lines
- Clean up
All volunteers will receive a Spurwink t-shirt, two beer/soda tickets, and tickets for the food trucks.
