Volunteer: Trauma Intervention VolunteerWe seek volunteers to participate in TIP's next training academy in October 2026. It will take place at the Westbrook Public Safety Building | 570 Main St. Westbrook, ME. The dates and times of the training academy are:
Wednesday, October 14, 2026. 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm Thursday, October 15, 2026. 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm Saturday, October 17, 2026. 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Sunday, October 18, 2026. 9:00 am - 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 20, 2026. 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm Wednesday, October 21, 2026. 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm Thursday, October 22, 2026. 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm Saturday, October 24, 2026, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm After the training academy, volunteers attend mandatory monthly Continuing Education (CE) Meetings, which are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm. TIP volunteers provide their monthly availability a few weeks ahead of their volunteer shifts. They are then scheduled for 3 "on call" shifts. Shifts last from 7 am to 7 pm OR from 7 pm to 7 am. Even if you can not attend our October training academy, we welcome your interest in our program and would be happy to hear from you.
