Partners for World Health (PWH) is a non profit organization in Portland, ME dedicated to reclaiming serviceable medical equipment and unused medical supplies and shipping to hospitals and health clinics in need around the world. PWH also helps to improve the local environment by redistributing items within New England. In addition, PWH coordinates global health volunteer opportunities to various parts of Africa and Asia. PWH is seeking a volunteer driver for our 20 foot box truck to pick up medical supplies and equipment. As a driver, you'll be the friendly face representing our organization, picking up donated goods within our community, with opportunities to travel across New England. We pick up supplies and equipment from locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Connecticut as well as Maine. We are seeking someone with a clean driving record, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. No CDL is required. DOT certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.
