Hope Acts provides housing, English classes and other resources that support immigrants in transitioning to life in Greater Portland and in achieving their goals for a successful future.

What We Do

Hope Acts provides housing, English classes and other resources for new asylum seekers so they have the opportunity to succeed in our community. Our programs include: 1) transitional housing - for previously homeless asylum seekers; 2) Hope House English Language Program - beginner through intermediate level English classes and 3) Asylum Seeker Assistance Program - an individualized service for asylum seekers needing help navigating bassic
