Who We Are
Caring Unlimited is the domestic violence resource center for York County. Caring Unlimited provides direct support and safety planning services to anyone affected by domestic abuse and violence, as well as prevention education, training, and professional consultation to move toward ending domestic violence.
Since Caring Unlimited was founded in 1977, the organization has relied heavily on the support of volunteers and the community at-large to provide critical round-the-clock services, to raise awareness about domestic violence in our community, and to change the conditions which allow domestic violence to persist.
Caring Unlimited is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
What We Do
Caring Unlimited provides direct support and safety planning to anyone experiencing domestic abuse and violence. Direct service programs include: 24 hour helpline and online chat/ text helpline, emergency shelter, transitional housing and services, individual and group support and education, and civil legal assistance. All services are confidential and free of charge.
Beyond Caring Unlimited’s extensive direct service programs, community education, training, and consultation services are provided to schools, health care providers, other organizations, businesses, and community groups. These educational programs assist the community to build networks that increase safety for victims and survivors and to change the cultural conditions which allow domestic violence to persist.
