Who We Are

Second Congregational Church a Congregational Christian Church, we are a intercity mission center, with worship once a week on Sunday that starts with a free community breakfast 8:30 - 9:30 am and Saturday family time, starting with a Family friendly Worship service at 4 pm, Craft and activity time, Pot Luck Soup Dinner and end by 5:45 with song and prayer. We hold a community prayer time with Bible Study on Thursday @ 6:30 pmSecond Congregational Church a Congregational Christian Church, we are a intercity mission center, with worship once a week on Sunday that starts with a free community breakfast 8:30 - 9:00 am We hold a community prayer time with Bible Study on Thursday @ 6:00 pm followed by Scripture DiscussionOur Men's group meets on Wednesday at 6pmWe host at least 10 recovery meetings a week and the Bon Appetit Meal Program that serves supper 5 times a week.Our Concerts that happen 2+ times a year, at least once in summer and one in December. These are by suggested donation to allow those who would normally not be able to afford to attend the opportunity to do so. All are worth attending.We hold the Kid's Shopping Program once a year in December where Kids get to "shop" for free, Christmas gifts for up to 4 adults in their lives. The family enjoys a pancake breakfast and there is entertainment of all in the family. Including a quiet room for parents.We also have a Book Swap Club feel free to bring in a book to swap or pick one up.Our Stuff Animal Miniseries give children and adults in need a stuffed animal to show them that we care about them and we will be praying for them.
