While Gentiva has locations in many states, we have been here in Portland for a few years and are one of two locations in the state. We serve a vast area of Cumberland, York, Androscoggin, and Sagadahoc counties. We are ACHC accredited.

Many people think hospice is only about end-of-life care, but it’s so much more than that. At Gentiva Hospice we help people with life-limiting illnesses, along with their loved ones, make the most of every moment. Our team works closely with patients and their loved ones to develop a care plan specific to each patient's needs including pain and symptom management, emotional support, spiritual care, respite care, and bereavement care.
