Altrusa Portland

A group of diverse individuals, belongs to an international organization, Altrusa International, We are a non-profit club devoted to delivering books and literacy, scholarships, and serving our communities. Love, Literacy and Legacy.

We give brand new books to greater portland , Westbrook and Windham kindergarten classes each year. We hold an EMPTY BOWL Supper and proceeds go to Project FEED. We deliver scholarships to high school and college students. We nurture a junior group of Altrusans, known as ASTRA, at Lake Region High School.
