Community Roots Farm was founded in 2025. Our Mission is to address food insecurity in Biddeford by supplying local food pantries and related organizations with fresh, organic produce at no cost.
High-quality fresh produce is often hard to come by at food pantries and free food programs. Food pantries are often flooded with the leftovers of large chain grocery stores. We believe that people experiencing hunger deserve fresh, high-quality produce, not just the leftovers.
Community Roots Farm is dedicated to growing fresh, organic produce to support local organizations that promote food security. Currently we partner with Youthful Maine, our Fiscal Sponsor for our Youth Full Maine Program.
