Who We Are
Through These Doors (TTD), formerly Family Crisis Services, is the domestic violence resource center serving Cumberland County. In collaboration with local partners and all affected by abuse, TTD creates innovative responses and mobilizes our community to promote safety and challenge systems of oppression and violence.
Through These Doors was founded in 1977 as Family Crisis Services by a largely volunteer staff. Volunteerism continues with our philosophy and identity as a community based organization that was born out of a grassroots model which encourages and models empowerment.
