MaineHealth Care at Home was established on May 1, 2016, by joining three leading home health and hospice agencies: HomeHealth Visiting Nurses, Know-Wal-Lin Home Care and Hospice, and Waldo County Home Care and Hospice. MaineHealth Care at Home is strongly positioned as a leader in the industry delivering a full range of high quality, home based- health services to children and adults. Community Health and Wellness programs to include foot care, immunizations and diabetes education and support are offered at public clinics. Hospice services are offered throughout Knox, Waldo and Lincoln counties with short term Hospice care and respite services at the Sussman House, a hospice facility located in Rockport, Maine. Help At Home, a program of MaineHealth Care at Home, offers private duty home care services based on individual needs. MaineHealth Care at Home provides services seven days a week, with 24/7 on-call services, throughout York, Cumberland Lincoln, Knox, Waldo, Sagadahoc, and southern Oxford counties.
