Park Danforth

The Park Danforth is a nonprofit organization serving adults age 60 and older and has been committed to the seniors of Greater Portland since 1881. Guided by our founders’ vision, we have evolved to meet the changing needs of aging adults while maintaining our tradition of providing a friendly, appealing community that respects dignity, privacy, and independence.

We provide quality housing and a full range of services designed to enhance quality of life and support self-determination as needs change with age. With 216 apartments, The Park Danforth offers meals, social activities, transportation, an on-site resident-run market, assisted living services, and volunteer opportunities, fostering a fulfilling lifestyle and meaningful connections for our residents.
