PSL Services STRIVE is a South Portland based non-profit that supports individuals with intellectual and mental health diagnoses live independent and meaningful lives within their communities.
PSL Services/STRIVE provides people with intellectual and developmental disabilities or mental health diagnoses a community of support and assistance in finding greater independence by:
-Respecting the value of each individual
-Initiating mutually beneficial, sustainable partnerships with business and community leaders
-Creating innovative opportunities responsive to the evolving needs of individuals and families
-We will treat everyone with dignity and respect
-We are committed to understanding the unique abilities of our participants, employees and partners
-We will STRIVE to create a fun and professional environment while recognizing the magnitude of what we do
PSL Services/STRIVE is committed to being part of the community and assisting people with emotional and intellectual disabilities to live with dignity and respect as active members of our community.
Our STRIVE programs (social, recreational and educational programs) focus on supporting tweens, teens, and young adults (ages 11-25 years old). These programs include; Tweens, STRIVE Night and STRIVE 25 socials, Wednesday Night Educational programs, and school vacation camps.
Our Community Supports, Home Supports, Mental Health, and some educational programs (STRIVE U, a post secondary program and STRIVE WorldWIDE, an online educational program) are for individuals 18 and older.
