Count ME In is an exciting partnership of schools, businesses, parents, youth, state and community organizations working to improve student attendance, engagement and academic achievement through data-driven strategies so all children can learn and succeed. What We Do
Count ME In is a data-driven grassroots organization that provides technical assistance and support to school districts and community organizations to reduce chronic absenteeism- students missing 18 or more days of school. We offer a comprehensive model with tools and strategies that empowers staff and families to tailor resources with the goal to effectively support children and families so all students can be successful, engaged learners.
Addressing chronic absenteeism is a key strategy to increasing academic achievement and graduation rates.
When districts implemented the Count ME In model with fidelity, there has been a statistically significant decrease in chronic absences in the schools.
