Summary
Count ME In is looking for a dynamic volunteer with interest and experience in writing, editing, and communicating on social media and websites. This position is for a skilled volunteer whose efforts will contribute to Count ME In’s work in the community. The tools created are used by school districts and community organizations to support student attendance so all children can become successful learners. Increasing student attendance is a key step to helping our children become college and job ready. Although there is no stipend or salary, the Media Specialist is entitled to attendance at Count ME In events.

The Media and Marketing Specialist works closely with the Count ME In Director.
Major Duties
- Create short articles, curate content for the e-Newsletter, website and social media
- Assist development of marketing materials
- Be a member of the Count ME In Facebook page and look for opportunities to post updates or interest or “shout-outs” about mission-related topics
- Attend Marketing Committee meetings as needed (no more than a few times a year)
Time Commitment
This position is expected to require about 2 to 3 hours per month. Formal meetings will be kept to a minimum with a focus on communicating by phone and e-mail.
