Who We Are
AARP Tax-Aide is a volunteer group that provides free income preparation and electronic filing to low to moderate income taxpayers as well as the elderly.
What We Do
During the income tax filing season, a team of trained volunteers work together to interview, prepare and review tax returns with for eligible taxpayers. Some volunteers greet taxpayers as they arrive, others are involved in return preparation with tax software, others quality review each return, others are technically savvy and make sure all laptops and printers are working.
We are looking for compassionate and friendly individuals to join our volunteer team. We'll provide the training and support to help you learn new skills, and you'll get a great feeling from helping someone else.
A great volunteer opportunity which helps the winter go just a little faster, leaving you free to pursue other activities for the remainder of the year.
