Are you interested in working directly with Refugee families? Jewish Community Alliance will be hosting a no-pressure Virtual Fair over Zoom to connect prospective volunteers with opportunities available. Unique volunteer opportunities working with diverse populations in Maine include:
- Leadership Roles
- Grocery Shopping Consultant
- Financial Literacy & Digital Literacy Support
- Cultural Orientation
- Public Transportation
- Moving Team/House Raising
All volunteers would be trained and managed by the HIAS Refugee Resettlement Program at the Jewish Community Alliance in Portland. Remote and hybrid volunteer roles are available!
