This is an exciting time to be engaged with YFO, and we are seeking a new board member with expertise in affordable housing to help guide this next phase of our development. The ideal candidate will:
Bring knowledge of affordable housing policy, development, or services.
Provide guidance to the board and leadership team on housing-related opportunities and challenges. Help strengthen partnerships with housing organizations, developers, and community stakeholders.
Contribute expertise to strategic discussions about how YFO can best support families facing housing insecurity.
Like all board members, this individual will also share in governance responsibilities: attending monthly board meetings, serving on committees as needed, assisting with fundraising, and acting as an ambassador for YFO in the community.
