Each year, The Opportunity Alliance hosts an Annual Holiday Gift Drive to support the adults living in our residential programs. Across six sites, we provide short-term crisis stabilization and longer-term residential support for individuals experiencing homelessness, major mental illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring chronic health conditions. These programs use trauma-informed, person-centered services to help residents work toward recovery, stability, and independence.
Our Holiday Gift Drive is supported by generous community members and businesses who “adopt” individual clients or entire programs, purchasing gifts to ensure no one goes without during the holiday season.
This year, we are seeking volunteers, either groups or individuals, to help wrap gifts for our residents. Your time will help us create a warm, dignified, and joyful holiday experience for people who may otherwise go without, and will directly support our mission to provide safe, supportive environments where individuals can maintain their dignity, connect with community resources, and improve their quality of life.
We will provide wrapping supplies, but you are welcome to bring your own!
