Seeking Board Members and Event Volunteers

Serve on a local board What: The Foundation for Maine's Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children is currently seeking volunteers to assist with various programs, as well as seeking members for their board. When: The Foundation board traditionally meets once in January, March, May and October, and twice in June, to review application requests and develop fundraising plans. Where: Governor Baxter School for the Deaf, Mackworth Island Why: The organization depends on volunteers to strengthen these programs. More Information: The Foundation promotes a broad spectrum of educational opportunities for Maine's Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and their families.
