Be a Friend to a Hospice Patient

Are you looking for a unique and rewarding experience? Compassus Hospice is looking for compassionate volunteers to visit hospice patients in assisted living communities and nursing homes. As a hospice volunteer, your role may be as simple as reading a book or newspaper, listening to music, attending an activity, taking a walk, or holding a hand. The heart of volunteering in hospice is simply enjoying each others company; time both you and your patient will find rewarding, uplifting and inspiring.
