Portland Adult Education needs volunteers to assist English teachers with the lesson plan for multilingual learners in both online classes and in-person classes. Online classes use Google Classroom/Google Meet and volunteers should feel comfortable with that platform or other comparable ones. In-person aides would help with classes at the Portland Adult Education building on 14 Locust Street in Portland, ME. Volunteer aides would help with group activities and in one on one situations in the physical classroom and in breakout rooms on Google Meet.
