The Alzheimer's Association, Maine Chapter seeks leadership volunteers for the 2020 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Planning Committees statewide. Committees are comprised of business and community leaders that use their organizational and networking skills to grow the movement to end Alzheimer’s disease.
Committees meet monthly all year long to plan and manage each Walk to End Alzheimer’s® event from the kick-off to wrap-up. Each committee, led by an event chair and co-chair, include seven subcommittees that focus on team recruitment, sponsorship, team retention, marketing, advocacy, mission, and logistics. All committees receive resources and support through designated Alzheimer’s Association staff person.
