Overall Responsibility: To supervise and oversee daily cleaning operations of the
shelter - Several people needed!
Time Commitment: 8:00 am until shelter duties are complete - Various days/shifts available during the work week, but also can need a Sunday manager. Approximately 3 - 4 hours per shift)
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Open the shelter for volunteers
- Check phone messages
- Supervise, train, and be point of contact for volunteers
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and forward them to the appropriate
individual
- Greet and assist visitors
- Assist with surrenders as needed
- Close the shelter
- Willingness to participate in shelter duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Good organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to communicate well with volunteers and the public
- Training skills
