FORE! The Opportunity Alliance is in need of volunteers to assist with event operations at our upcoming Golf for Good 2024 Tournament. This tournament is a great opportunity to socialize on the green while helping your community. Proceeds from the tournament will provide critical support and programming for individuals and families in need across the region, who continue to feel the impacts of the pandemic.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the following duties: checking players in at the registration table, helping run the fun contests around the course, helping event staff with promoting raffle tickets and silent auction, and monitoring our breakfast and lunch offerings for players.
All
volunteers should plan to arrive at Spring Meadows Golf Club at 7:00am to check
in and receive orientation. All volunteers will be asked to help Event Staff in setting up equipment for the event before it starts and breaking down the equipment after the event ends, depending on your personal schedule.
TOA staff will be on-hand to direct volunteers on day-of and validate volunteer hours following the event as needed. As only ~eight volunteers will be needed for this event, volunteers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Make sure to wear comfortable, country club-friendly attire and plan for the weather. You will be outside for the duration of the event. If the event is postponed due to inclement weather, we will notify all volunteers in a timely fashion.
