Nearly four million healthcare appointments are missed each year in the U.S. because people lack transportation. Age Friendly Rides recognizes one critical way to keep our community healthy is to recruit drivers to provide rides to important checkups. We gratefully accept contributions in cash or in-kind.
Who: Windham residents with no access to other transportation
What: Medical and other appointments and associated stops during the same ride. Service Area: Rides for those who live in Windham to appointments in the Greater Windham and Portland areas
