After training, volunteers assist with scheduling by checking each referral for duplicates, confirming client addresses and service eligibility, and verifying or updating the items list submitted by the case manager. They review the delivery calendar to find the next available slot, update the schedule in the system, and record notes summarizing communication with the client. Finally, volunteers update the delivery calendar with the client’s name and ID to keep everything organized and on track. *Training Required.
