Every December, volunteers and community support this program so that kids have the opportunity to pick out gifts for their loved ones, free of charge, to help learn the spirit of giving.
Families register and are given reservations for the time to come for Breakfast.
Each child registers to get 4 adults in their life a gift.
On day of event:
Families get a breakfast of Pancakes, sausage and beverage.
After eating children are assigned a shopping helper. (Children get pre-wrapped gifts already picked out) Helpers get a little info on what those being shopped for may like. Then it is off to the "store" as the parents go to the waiting area and are entertained by video or musician. When helpers return child to family they have packages wrapped and tagged, ready to go under the tree.
There is even time after to check in with Santa who stops in to check on things.
